Sauer Bible leaf, printed 1743, 1 page, condition is browned but bold and size is 9.5x7. This page is from the Second Book of Kings, part of Chapter 13 and Chapter 14, dealing with Absalom killing Amnon and his recall to Jerusalem. This is from the rare edition printed in Germantown Pennsylvania. It was the second edition of the Bible printed in America and the first non-English. Only 1200 were printed and few survived to the 20th century. Part of the exact item is imaged.
